If you have no complications like kids or assests and can agree of eveything amicably, what is the quickest easiest and cheapest way to get divorced please? I have grounds on the basis of lack of emotional support, but it is worth also doing an 'agreed separation'?
Many thanks people.:)

Phone your local court and get the paperwork off them, not sure what the criteria is eg length of marriage, but it will be cheaper to DIYTreat other's how you like to be treated.

You can get all the forms on the internet. In fact, you can fill them out online. Print 3 copies, sign each one, send all three and a cheque to your nearest divorce court (listed online). I think it's £340. Not sure if there are further costs.

If you both agree then download the forms, fill in and both sign.
pay the fee.
You also need to pay for the decree absolute - about £60. Do make sure you get it.
Then new wills to sort out.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Sorry to hear about the end of your marriage, its never an easy time, whatever the circumstances.
If you are going to do it yourself, you will need to ensure that you have a clean break order in place too which may cost extra so that there is no future claim to each others assets, pensions, windfalls etc.
you could try one of these online services who charge a flat fee and do all the paperwork for you to keep costs down.
i used a solicitor because i didn't have a clue where to start.
good luck - i hope it all goes well.
