we am currently taking the step to move in with each other, myself & girlfriend, who has an infant. I am out of work at the moment, claiming jobseekers allowance. We want to live together, but do not know what we will be entitled to have, benefits wise, gain or lose??.... she is working p/t 15 hrs min wage, housing benefit and council tax relief. She also gets child benefit and a little tax credits. Am i right in saying if we do live under the same roof, she will not lose anything, and, i will still be able to claim jsa, and recieve my benefit claim:(???????

It depends if you are on income or contributions based jsa? If income based you will lose this. Also she will have to close down both housing and tax credits claims and claim as a joint one instead0

Thankyou. I am going to go to CA Advice Shop and query. I did think there would be a loop draw back, damn. It really is a nightmare:(0
