Rights under warranty?

I bought a Power Mill blender June 2010 for about £200. It had a 2 year warranty. Since I have had it I have had to return it once for a replacement and had to have a new blender jug. It has now broken again, blowing a fuse I think - too scared to use it again - but this time when I contacted them they said I must pay to return it. Previously I spoke (by email) to a different person who always bent over backwards to help, including arranging all courier deliveries at their cost. But now I have been told as it is near the end of warranty they will only look at it if I pay postage costs and it is heavy! What are my rights under the warranty? Have I just been lucky up until now to get the service I have?

A warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
As such, they can specify whatever conditions they like, but cannot change them after the sale.
What does your warranty documentation have to say on the subject?0
