Thanks for replies again guys :)

Do you think the fairfix card would work with reoccurring pamynets? This would also give me the advantage of being in control if things did go wrong (i.e I would not load any more money on card). What do you think?

You'd need to check with the website owners about if they accept UK issued cards or not to save you wasting your time and/ or money

It's fairly simple to cancel monthly charges. Most retailers will outline how much notice you have to give to cancel the account. Usually it's a month.

American commercial law is different from UK. Remember you are dealing with an US site.
  • Hello Friend,

It totally depends on whether the credit card is national or international but most of the credit cards are used globally so that the customers will not face any problem purchasing anything around the world. Contact your bank to find out whether your credit card is acceptable globally or not. OR is it a nationalized credit card or an International.

    Best Regards

    Thanks for help,

My card is a Visa HSBC Debit Card which I presumed was for global use. Will check the merchant again and see,

Ah, it should be accepted anywhere which takes Visa.

Sounds like the merchant will only accept US cards then.

    Sorry for delay,
Since spoken with the merchant again and you guys were right - they were refusing outside card payments due to security. They since ammeded my account and I can now sign up,

I get billed at the end of the month - something like $115, I presume my bank will take the exchange rate from the day?

    Many thanks to all!

    Kind regards,
