Disabled partner been sent P45?

My partner hasn't worked in 10 years, he is disabled and on DLA and recently has been put on the WRAG component of ESA (which he is appealling to get into the support group) and just got sent his P45 - Anybody understand why? Also, it says Total Pay To Date : XXX - Does that mean they are due to pay him that sum or that is tax he has paid and isn't very important?

Its because the IB has stopped and the ESA has taken over ( like if you were changing jobs )

The 'pay to date' figure is exactly that.

Its a statement of all the pay he has already had and the tax (if any) etc. he has paid in the period.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
