Hi,

i recently applied for a new cc for its balance transfer deal.

i was accepted but they could not offer me the deal that i wanted but offered me something not as good instead.

I chose not to choose the offer and cancelled the application.

can you let me know if i am able apply for a different cc now or will my other incomplete application blackball me?

Your recent application will just show as a search on your credit report so if that is the only application for credit that you've made since the last few months then doing another one will not do any harm, however if declined again then I would wait 5 to 6 months before applying again...

i did apply with a different company and got the deal advertised no problem!

I wonder now if the problem with the original application was that my husband has that CC...

who knows, no worries now, thanks for the advice...:beer:
