I recently purchased an Acer laptop from Comet it was offered with a "free" Vista upgrade costing £14 postage. After sending my details I received a confirmation number and a request to send a copy of my receipt by post, fax or scan. I E-mailed a scanned copy of my receipt on February 10th and have heard nothing since.
Has anyone out there got any experiences of this process or is there a backlog?

I have done exactly the same with my Lenovo laptop and have not heard anything either. I have logged back into the upgrade site and it says that my COA has been validated but nothing else.0

I saw a news item about this which said that they were surprised about the number of people who took up the offer (arent they always) and so were running behind.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
