Tiickets on sale today

Hi guys. The website is currently stating 'scheduled updates' at the moment. Does anyone know if tickets have completely gone??

I had put a reminder on my phone about the sale today, but then completely forgot to come online for them, and then got busy with the day-to-day life aspects!!!! I am super and :mad: with myself...

Hi Don't know if I've done the right thing or not......Tried for ages yesterday to book tickets, kept showing availability but couldn't book 2 tickets. I wanted 2 tickets for anything in the afternoon, any day in the first week....preference for handball simply because it fits in with the train times! Didn't even know there was handball in the Olympics! We have a 4 hour train journey from North East. Just want to give my 13 year old daughter an experience of the Olympics, see the park and basically do something she might never do again.
Anyways, I still couldn't book 2 tickets, rang up and asked why there was availability but couldn't book....because there's only individual seats. So I've booked one seat in price range D (£20) and one in C (£30) for 30th July 2.30pm- hoping that if these are miles apart , I might be able to swop the £30 ticket with someone who's paid £20. Anyone any ideas if this is possible.....
Only thing is I had to pay 2x£6 to have them delivered!!!

I would say it is extremely unlikely that you will be able to swap as the tickets are not transferable. Additionally for some events you will be allocated a specific seat so if this is the case here you would have to find the person sat in the seat next to the one you've bought and see if they will swap.

I have different tickets but only getting charged for one delivery so far. They were booked at different times but through my online account.

Managed to get tickets for the Olympic Park, Badminton, Basketball, Weightlifting and Wrestling.

Some events I've never seen before but should be a great experience. Don't forget you can buy tickets from authorised foreign websites as well.

Many charge ridiculous shipping fees (€49 for a €30 ticket) but some companies you can collect the tickets from an office in London when you are there.

I did get the e-mail confirmation.... went into the "spam" box!

Wasn't able to get tickets for athletic (but not too fussed as I'm got paralympic tickets for athletics). Got tickets for Handball plus I've got selected as a Games Maker as well so I'm happy.

I finish my last shift as a GM on 6th August and then the next day up again early to go to the Olympic Park but as a spectator this time.

if you go into your nearest thomas cook or co-op travel shop they are selling olympic tickets from £79 with accomodation in that too
