Anyone actually got tickets today?

Tried 3 times, 'placed in queue' to reserve, 'sorry not available' at end of each wait.

Same issues as last time, 'live' info isn't, ticketmaster fouled it up for Locog again?

No comment, absolute nightmare the entire thing. Can't wait for the whole thing to be over. It is so difficult to get hold of tickets, and then they release some more, still hard to get hold of them, also for the most part random events.

Can anyone actually find tickets for sale? I've tried every Archery session at every price level and nothing. What is the point? How hard would it have been to have a system that updates on live availability to save us wasting our time like this?

I admit to being one of those completely disinterested in the Olympics, complete waste of money.

However, I did venture onto the site today to see what tickets are left, although more to see what the complaints were about. I have never seen such a useless site in my life, so user unfriendly, I now see what all of the complaints are about.

Whoever approved the structure and design of it needs to have a read of a relevant book for dummies, half a brain cell would have told them that it needed to be re-addressed.

Got tickets to Olympic Park to get some photos and experience the atmosphere and for Beach Volleyball at Horse Guards Parade. I did want basketball but couldn't decide for definate and the tickets got removed before I could make a decision.

Agree the website is terrible though, thanks for that Ticketmaster.

Just this second booked the hockey at 8:30am on the 3rd August. £65each.

This might help someone out, who just wanted to go and see something......anything...... been trying all day

Anyone today (23 May) that managed to get tickets - have you had your confirmation e-mail through yet?

Fun and games are work today - both me and my boss spent 1 1/2 hours trying to get tickets. Spent several '15 mins or more' waiting in a queue for it to come up with "no tickets" but finally got there in the end - thing is no confirmation e-mail yet...... just hope its all gone through ok (but due to the number of people trying to get tickets maybe there is a delay - hope that is all is it).

I found that the wait was a long one and the 'time' was all over the place, 15 minutes, 14, 11, 12, back to 15, 13, 9 up and down like crazy.:p

When I finally got the reservation and option to buy, I found the website extremely slow as I tried to enter my details and watched the clock countdown with alarm. I think I had 3 seconds left on the clock when I completed the order.:eek:

It was not an easy process and I'm sorry that some of you were unlucky today.
