I've got dealings with egg and they've been really helpful to us. Between my husband and I, we owed them over £10,000 between two credit cards and a loan. We sent them all our income info and an offer to pay about £5-00 a month. We thought they might refuse this but they accepted straight away with no hassle. They transferred everything to 0% interest for the life of the balance and as long as we keep paying the £5-00, they'll be keeping the debt themselves.

Only 1 of our debts went to a DCA and never again. Always try and keep the debt with the original lender!
