Would I be able to use the Tesco clubcard exchange for the kids and use the Sun tickets for the adults on the same day?

Yes, you certainly can. Just as long as there is not a restriction on the tesco vouchers hth :)

I've got the booking form with todays date bands in and am thinking I'm pretty stuffed. Band C (Aug 1st to Aug 18) is the only band where my son is definitely off school. It's going to be heaving then at Legoland...

The October half term for us in Hampshire runs from 27th Oct to 4th Nov, so Date Band G is only any good if we get sent tickets from the 27th...

What do you/are you going to do if you get sent tickets for a date your child is in school?

The booking form and info with it states twice that specific date requests within selected bands will not be met by the Sun.

I also wanted to have 2 tickets sent to my mums so both boys can go - not sure asking for the same dates for both sets AND for a specific date is going to go down well!

    Any advice?

I just take mine out of school for the day. Always do this with Alton Towers and the school always approves. We only had easter hols once - it is hit and miss really and up to you if you want to take them out. I must say on the school days there are still loads of parents with kids so they must be doing the same!

Thanks for replying. I think i'm going to add a note with the booking form and ask for the October half term dates anyway and see what happens. If I get other dates I might try and sell them (can I do that?) and use the money to buy tickets for the day I can go.

I just hope they don't bin my application just because I ask for specific dates...
  • With the Sun Alton Towers tickets, I just sent off 2 x applications and vouchers in the same envelope with 2 x different S.A.E.'s and got them returned with 4 x tickets all on the same date. There is no guarantee this will work again but I am going to try, if I don't get school holidays never mind.....at least the hotels will be cheaper outside of school holidays.

You can swap tickets with other people - but you cannot do this on this site.

I've seen people swapping tickets on netmums - they dont have your name on them or anything x

The Sun sent me a bonus token for the Legoland offer. That means I will have the required 9 tokens on Sunday.

Unfortunately there is no mail collection until Wednesday by when three more tokens will have been published.

Do others agree that means the bonus token is of little use - or is there something I'm missing ?

No thought it was bad too. They may have been better starting the promotion on the Saturday. As this would have meant you would have had enough tomorrow to send them off.
