How do i get rid of the above that has appeared in my searchbar. I have uninstalled the program that put it there "ilivid" but it wont go

I have run a avast scan..no problems found

i have also run malwarebytes..no problems found

Providing specific instructions would require that I already know the answer to the previous question, rendering the question itself moot.

Is there a menu bar at the top with the words File, Edit et al. prominently displayed? Or a gear-like symbol in the upper right-hand corner?

Click it, select Internet options and look for a button marked Settings adjacent to the phrase Change search defaults.

You can determine the version by selecting About Internet Explorer instead.

Thanks have done that and it has gone for now, have been reading scare stories online about it
