warranty on replacement

i had a fault with ipod, took it back to comet, had 2 months let on original warranty.
they said would send it away for examination, then call me with update, they have now agreed the fault and sent a new replacement.
howmuch warranty do i have on he new replacement.
if they havegiven me a new one should i get full 12 months again?
