Tips for when buying Iphone Insurance

I have recently purchased PYB (Protect Your Bubble) Iphone insurance. I found this process a challenge as there are so many mixed reviews out there.
My biggest pieces are advice are:
READ the T&C's - So many of the reviews are from people unhappy they didnt get a claim payout but I bet many didnt read the T&C's fully to check for exceptions. Yes some of the exceptions seem unreasonable but that is why its important to understand them before signing up.
COMPARE different companies T&C's - each company vary intheir exceptions, cover types and excess. Make sure you double check they cover what you need.
SECURITY - Make use of call allowance caps your phoneprovider can add to your account to protect against unauthorised phone useageif your phone is stolen.
Put in place other security like unlock codes, find my phonesoftware and think about your general safety when using your phone.
Hope that helps! If anyone else has tips on how to make the decision making process easier for choosing an insurer please add to this thread.
Happy Insurance buying :-)
