Yes to this - refer to http://www.solar-help.co.uk/blog/2011/solar-panels/keep-earning-from-feed-in-tariffs-even-if-you-sell-your-home for details. Provided it's all agreed with all the parties, you could keep receiving the FiT, while the new owner gets the benefit of free electricity (up to the capacity of the panels). Of course, few people would probably want this scenario - it wouldn't be in the buyer's interests, as they're missing out on revenue, while it would be risky for you, since you have no idea how much electricity they will use and are potentially liable for upkeep etc.

Also your potential buyers would be put off as you are putting them into the same position as someone in th"rent a roof" scenario

Will be interested to hear how it works out. Your panels are an income producing asset and I would expect them to be welcomed by buyers but I doubt if any will pay more than the cost of installation. NB you won't be paid an annual cheque by EDF, they pay quarterly based on your generation meter reading and usually by direct debit. Trying to retain the income after you move is a no hoper I fear.

I wouldn't buy anywhere that I didn't own in total.
What incentive has a prospect purchaser to buy somewhere with panels if someone else is going to be picking up the cheque?
If someone wants solar energy they would be better off buying a property without panels & installing their own or having the contract signed over to them.
I'm not even sure that lenders & insurers would be entirely happy to cover a house with the sort of set-up you are considering.

This is the crucial bit. Anyone buying them now would only get FiTs at 23p per KwH generated instead of your 43p, but the panels would cost them a lot less than the price you paid - around £8k for a 4KwH set according to latest estimates. So this will effect the perceived value of them to your buyers.
4kWh is worth £1.72 in total on a feed in tariff at £0.43/kWh. At least get your units of measurement right.
