Disconnecting gas cooker

Am I legally allowed to disconnect a gas cooker (bayonet fitting) or do I have to call out a Corgi engineer to do it? One will be re-connecting the new cooker in a few days time but I'd rather not pay two lots of callout fees if I can help it.

    Yes.
Just check the bayonet fitting seals properly after disconnection (They normally do)
