Qashqai leak

Hi all

Just a quick one if anyone is mechanically minded. I have a Qashqai+2 (10 plate) which is dripping. I'll call the dealer tomorrow and get an appointment booked but wondering if its a big deal?

I've taken a photo here of what it is but I've no idea if this is an "OMG don't drive it" or a "just get it looked at asap" type of issue.

Anyone any ideas?

Depends how quickly is it dripping out and how long for? Does it look/smell/feel like oil? Does it have a colour?

Looks like its behind the engine so gearbox/transfer box (if 4wd). Its usually serious if something which should be full of oil is empty.

It's not oil. I've felt the liquid and it looks and feels like water.

Looks like a drain tube to me - have you been using the aircon today?

Water from the a/c condenser I imagine. Normal behaviour.

I had the same and it turned out to be aircon :rotfl:
