credit card Purchases in europe
I have just used my credit card from Frizzell/Victoria banking services ie The Caravan Club credit card it can be used in EU without any charges for purchases it also has the advantage if you pay money in before you go on holiday they pay you up to 4.5%intrest on your balance.there appears to be no limit to they amount you can pay in , there exchange rate is based on mastercard/eurpay at the time it reaches your account the card . this week it has been as high as 1.4493 eur to the pound
eg 47euo = £32.43.
do-not use the card for cash withdrawals in or outside the EU or purchases outside Europe

Cold news. You can find this and a lot of other useful information in Save 6% by using the cheapest way to spend overseas article. If you preload credit card there is no advantage as against debit card (Nationwide), but there is disadvantage when withdrawing cash from cash machines.0
