Macbook Pro and Logic Studio

I posted this question on the Apple Q and A forum at the end of March, but never got a reply. Time's a-ticking on, so I thought I'd see if the technically savvy on here would be able to help.....

I'm studying music and will be buying a Macbook Pro, Logic Studio and an M Audio Keystation over the summer. I'd like to know what memory size and processor and hard drive speed to get for the best results.

biggest, fastest and biggest would be the only answer it's possible to give!
Seriously though, the software maker won't tell you the 'best' to run on, but the makers of the software and hardware above will set minimum specs, and may also provide 'recommended' specs. Have a look for those things on their websites.
