Old Old HSBC account query

Hi
Query here
I found a cheque book from an account I held about ten years ago. The account and assocaiated credit card went overdrawn by a small amount and by th etime the bank contacted me it had spiralled out of control - anyway, I ended up repaying over a period of time and was repaying as recently as seven years ago.
Are the timescales too long to launch a claim for those charges - All I have is my old account number and memories of crazy charges followed by years of repayment.
Happy to forget it but you never know

Be happy and forget it
The days of reclaiming bank charges are way gone, except for those in financial hardship where continuing charges are applied hindering the customer from recovering from that financial hardship ... and even then the bank is not obligated to refund any.
Find further details in the MSE guide to reclaiming bank charges
