Will Scottish Power charge me a leaving fee?

I've been searching all over the Scottish Power site, and all through the 'my account' area, but can not find anywhere the details of whether or not Scottish Power will charge me a cancellation fee?
I'm not leaving because of any price hikes, just generally trying to save where I can, so happy to wait for this SP contract to run out...but I can't find out when that is either!
If anyone could help you'll save me a lot of aimless clicking.
Thanks

I'm not saying trust the cancellation fee answer you get by asking Scottish Power (because the answer depends on the *exact* question you ask and the *exact* circumstances of leaving), but the main issue is what tariff you are on, and I would be surprised if you can't see that on a previous bill.0 -
Some tariffs have an ETC , some don't-we are not psychic, so tell us what you are on.
If you are on Standard tariff though (if so, why?) then there is no ETC.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I too have been trying to find out how if and how much I would be charged if I were to switch companies and end my contract with SP.
I have tried calling the customer help line, but after half and hour of waiting I gave up.
I then tried using the customer support centre on-line and got responses from the search results regarding cancelling direct debits to small business changes, but not the answer I was looking for.
I have now e-mailed my question, but because I didn't enter my metre readings, I know have to wait up to 2 days for a response.
I have not been impressed so far and is now fuelling the fire (no pun intended) for me to leave SP and find another provider.
I personally think something as basic as a cancellation fee would be easy to find, but I have been proved wrong so far.
Cross fingers I get a reply soon.0
