Hi i wondered if some one can help me. i recently triesd to ope an account for my sons.football team and couldnt do.so coz ive had bad credit in the past and they said my credit score wasnt satisfactory. all i want is a bank account to pay the kids subs money in and were i could set up standing orders so parents can just pay it directly but i couldnt do this. can anyone help me or give me an idea were i could open an account to do this it was lloyds tsb that refused me even though ive banked with them for over 10years. plus i didnt want an overdraft or for them to give me any money i just wanted a safe place to keep there football teams money. please help me

If it is to be an account in your own name then look at the basic bank accounts sticky thread towards the top of this forum. There's a list of basic bank accounts here
