I don't see any reference to Barclaycard WorldMaster Card in any of the links. To me it looks like a relaunch/rethink of an existing product.

Yes, this is nothing to do with the World MasterCard cashback program, it's the rubbish Barclaycard Freedom program they ran for a while at selected retailers.0

I just got this email too. I am not a previous "Egg" customer - I believe my Barclays Cashback/Rewards card was converted over from my old Morgan Stanley card a long time ago.
I would be more upset about this, but I swear for some reason I've never gotten as much back from my "cashback reward" as I would expect anyway. For example, in this email it mentions that I currently have "£0.64 worth of Reward Money", whatever that means. I don't really get it - isn't this meant to be a 1% cashback card or something like that? This is my primary card I've been using for normal spending for at least a year now, and I spend a ridiculous amount on it - probably averaging between 1k-2k every month lately if I include all the travel expenses I put on the card. But also plenty of normal expenses like groceries, shopping, and restaurants/bars. Why am I not seeing 10 or 20 pounds of "reward money" each month?
So I guess the new program isn't going to be much better or worse for me than this one has been.0 -

You are clearly missing out on a lot of cashback. I suggest you investigate the offers from Capital One, or even other Barclaycard products.0 -
I got the email too - I didn't think it was about my ex-Egg cashback until I saw this thread title.
If it isn't related to Egg cashback, can someone please change the thread title?0 -

Correct!!! I have a Barclaycard Visa, and their email was to do with that. (it even had the last 4 digits of my visa card) - Hence nothing to do with Barclays World M/Card....
Get inn.......... Cash Back yes!..........................0 -
