Car insurance help

I'm looking for cheap car insurance.

I'm 29, female. i had an accident in 2009, a speeding fine and points in 2010. I've had my licence 3 years and only have 1 years NCB.

I'm being quoted £1,600 with a £3k excess.

Does anyone know where i can look for cheaper quotes. I've tried all the compare sites.

Whatever you do dont be tempted to manipulate the information you give to reduce that price you may find yourself uninsured.

Yes it's £3,000 but i found a cheaper company today so i'm all sorted. It's still £500 excess but it's better than what I was getting. hopefully it will reduce after the first year.
