I'm not inclined to believe that they would knowingly do this for two years. A genuine mistake on their part?0 -
I really don't see how it's a "rip off" that Tesco have matched the suppliers recommended retail price.
...and still being a pound cheaper than other retailers as you say.0 -
...as I subsequently discovered in the course of this very thread.0

What a truely obvious but pointless thread.0

Yet again I have come across some very negative posters on this thread. Have you nothing better to do with your time? It seems to be the same ones everytime I look at a thread.
I know this is a vent board but there is no reason to be rude. We all have our off days and need to vent steam to stuff.
The OP was flagging up a justified hike in prices and reduction in size of pack (other threads have noticed that Tescos has been hiking prices recently) and it was justifiable the question was asked.
We know things go on with the supposedly super duper wine reductions in store - supposedly double the price whatever for 28 days before the special offer. These supermarkets know all the scams and cons.

Have you also read 'Shopped: The Shocking Power of British Supermarkets' by Joanna Blythman? Its the reason I hardly shop at supermarkets anymore!!2019 Wins: Feb: £10 Aldi Voucher, Frankie & Benny's meal for 2; May: Game from Maynards. Selling products less than the RRP!
I think you'll find that's why one or two posts were negative. Even when people are paying less for something it's a scam or a con, apparently.0 -
