Till you have a ring on a finger I would split it 50:50.
When married I think everything should be joint.
Trouble is 2/3 married people will become UNmarried - and thats when the fun starts - even married you should still keep track of your own personal financesWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -

We did what you are doing until we had our first baby, then my pay dropped so we went to having our salaries paid into a joint account which pays all bills and then an equal amount of spending money each paid out of that into our own accounts. I save what I can from the joint account into joint savings. We agreed this way as when I earned more I saved more towards buying a house and having a baby, DH would spend it, so is happy for this way of doing stuff as when we need money, it's there and not been frittered away!! We put all food petrol house stuff on a joint credit card and pay it in full each month out the joint account. We got married after the baby, but if it had been before we'd have changed to the current system at that stage.Grocery challenge July £250
