Aw, sweeties - sorry to hear you're taking a bit of a battering from the sh*t-stick at the moment. I know it's terribly hard to believe - but keep smiling; it'll be OK. I got my IVA in 2007, due to finish in 2013 ( ), but I was exactly the same back then (not much better nowadays, tbh, but at least I've learned a worthwhile lesson!).

I NEVER used to open my bank statements - I used to run upstairs with the envelope and chuck it behind the wardrobe in my bedroom! When I moved into my own little place, I shifted the wardrobe and chest of drawers to find about six-years'-worth of unopened statements behind them! No wonder they were leaning forward... :o

(As I was WELL into my IVA by then, and they were ancient anyway, I took great pleasure in running the statements through the office shredder and shaking my head over how daft I'd been not to open them in the first place. Have to say, though, that shredding them all was seriously therapeutic!! ;) )

You'll be all right, just takes a while is all. xx

Most of us - whoever we are - have been there to a greater or lesser extent at SOME stage in their life, honeybee. It's the really smart ones like us who have the guts to admit that they've got a problem and seek out the help and support they need who are the strong ones.

Trust me - it won't always be this cr*p. It probably will be for a while - but the little flickering light is there at the end of the tunnel, so it will be OK in the end.

Keep smiling! (least there's no tax on that yet, hehe) xx
