Just wanted a little moan before bed

Just a little moan, checked bank today and must have had a dd come out in the last 4 days as now over £800 OD  with a vet bill to pay on Friday (£60)
We both get paid fri but once wages go in bills come out and od covered we'll be back in the red. :(

Rant over nearly made me weep today as i've been really motivated this week only to be bought back down to earth with a massive bump :(

Oh that sucks :( I've made a pact with myself to check my bank account every day - I used to avoid it back in the 'pre LBM' days and it always led to trouble!!

Is it an arranged OD you are going into, or will you incur lots of charges for going into it?
    Savings target: £25000/£25000

Hi we have a £1500 agreed overdraft so i guess thats lucky (although doesn't feel very lucky :rotfl:)

I've got some vouchers saved up and unfortunately will be spending some tomorrow on a new printer so i can keep a really close eye on our finances, like you on a daily basis. :D

I'll get there in the end

I am relieved to read this although sorry to hear your situation. We must have been posting at the same time. I just posted that my card was declined as a payment came out that I forgot about. Rubbish isnt it. Guess on the bright side things can only get better ! Good luck to us both for getting on better next month !!

I know it seems a bit obsessive but i have a week by week diary and I write out the DD's that are coming out and total them up for each week, along with any cheques that are waiting to clear, and tick them off as they're collected. And I check the account every day too. Oh dear, what has happened to me, I've been MSE'd!!

It really doesn't take long once you're in the habit of doing it and it has stopped me from going OD, which used to happen all the time.
