Cheap European Breakdown Cover

Im planning a trip across Europe in about a month

at the moment I have AA EURO breakdown

it costs me £170 a year

(my car is a 20 year old jap import)

ive seen on the internet and ive read about ADAC the german version of the AA

basically it is 80euro for the same cover which at the current rate is £65

has anyone ever used ADAC and are there any age restrictions with using this service ??

EDIT : sorry just got my policy out for last year and my cover for the full year is £237.94 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cant believe I paid it ( I havent even used it !!!)

Asda breakdown European cover, OK for old vehicles & you can take it at
£12.50 monthly (for a minimum of 6 months)

Is it a MK1 Eunos ? That sounds like a great trip.

I have the same car (if thats what it is) - I found that it was expensive but there were two options, get the RAC 'Family' cover which does you by person rather than car or get it bundled in with the insurance, which was £60 for full cover.
