Does anyone know how this will work?

They are saying that they will only allow customers to take carry on luggage. I have already prepaid to take one suitcase as hold luggage as cannot manage two smaller suitcases with child in tow. HELP how much notice am i likely to get from them?

There won't be room in the cabin for anything other than the usual carry on baggage allowance of one bag each.

Maybe you could you phone Ryanair up and ask to change your flights to another airport ie. Luton/East Midlands? It's certainly not a perfect solution but your options are very limited if you want to take hold luggage.

Having looked at the website it is a bit confusing as there is no definitive answer - it is very wishy washy.

Would I be correct in thinking that if they anticipate that they won't be able to accept my hold luggage they will e-mail me? As I had already checked in on line prior to the announcement of the strikes.
