Tracking a Spending Diet

I almost forgot I had this diary. The last few months have been pretty turbulent after splitting up with my other half and moving house and areas. I know it was for the best but it was still hard and I felt the need to cheer myself up a bit so my savings and spending went a little off the rails for a while. This month I'm trying to get back on track. I have a holiday planned for next week but it should be fairly inexpensive as is just a chill out sunshine holiday. Despite decluttering when I moved I still appear to have a lot of stuff so am going to try really hard for the rest of the year not to buy a whole lot else! I'm doing NSK's August challenge to try and get me back into the budgeting frame of mind too. I know I'm not in debt any more but that doesn't mean I shouldn't keep an eye on what I'm spending my money on. As I'm not with my boyfriend now I don't need to save until he finishes uni, I am hoping to get to £20k by the end of 2013 though which I'm sure I can do if I put my mind to it0
