To book or not

I have just been on the website https://www.onthebeach.co.uk and found a holiday to tenerife for a week in June for £668.00 approx fully inclusive, the reviews are mixed more negative than positive and am not sure whether to book it or not. Reviews are saying its for old folk and quiet which is what I want but not the old even though i am getting there!!

Is this a good deal do you think or not and how do I check if the food and drinks on the all inclusive are served from morning to night and if food is available at whatever times does anybody know on here or how do i find out.

The hotel is Palio Don Pedro Costa Del Silencio Tenerife.

I am just looking for a cheap getaway for a week somewhere warm to read a book and have a swim and weather be nice and warm.

I wouldn't call £668 for a week in Tenerife cheap (is that just for one person?) quite the reverse in fact but I could be hugely out of touch with costs of holidays in Europe.

Does the hotel have a website? Surely the AI details will be on there?

From all the reports on here about OTB's customer service I would avoid them like the plague, personally!

If you are wanting to check out the hotel go to trip advisor there will most likely be reviews on there and you should get answers to any questions you have.

I went to Tenerife last year for a week self catered for £150 so I'd say £668 is a bit steep!

Having looked at that it really wouldn't be for me either!

OP, you haven't given dates or said where you can travel from but if you are travelling in June that is now classed as a late deal. If it were me I'd be looking at the likes of First Choice/Thomson to see what else is available. You can choose you airport(s) and preferred board basis (or see all) and choose as many or as few destinations to include in your search as you wish.

We stayed at the Palio Don Pedro last October. We booked around June time with Direct Holidays and paid around £550 each (i think) so yours seems expensive though we were out of season. We are a couple in early fifties and found it ideal for what we wanted.......a week away for R & R. There were some older people about but also families with young children - not too many as it was October but imagine there could be during June.
Food and drink were ok for what we paid.....snacks available all day from the pool bar if you miss breakfast or lunch.
The hotel wasn't full when we were there so service was good but no sure how it would be during June.

Hi yes it was for two but I have changed my mind about this now as one of my friends has been and she said it was okay but nothing special.

I am looking elsewhere so if anyone can help it would be appreciated
