Treat for 16 year old boy

I want to give my 16 year old son a treat when he finishes his GCSE's in a couple of weeks. Can anyone give me any ideas? Perhaps thinking along the lines of a theme park (although I hate rides)!

Live in Cornwall so don't want to travel too far. Looking at a day or a weekend and more value for money than anything else. Just looked at some go karts in Cornwall and almosut £50 for 30 mins worth of fun - so to my mind a lot of money for a few minutes excitement.

He is quite an active boy, is in air cadets and has done some flying. He likes sports of all kinds.

I have asked him what he would like and he is "thinking" but would really like to give him some choices to help him out.

I don't want his answer to be "a new game for my Xbox" :)

Well, you'll get alot of value out of a trip to a theme park that's for sure, especially if he is a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Thorpe Park has really come in to it's own recently. If you are interested I can point you in the direction of some reduced price passes too.
