Paying off 0% Interest on Purchases Credit Card - Any Interest Chargeable?

Hello all, looking for some assistance with a question.

I have an M&S 0% on purchases credit card. The interest free period comes to an end on 1st July.

Is there anything to watch out for regarding repayment of the balance? I am under the impression that I will incur no interest as long as the balance is settled on or before the 1st of July. Is this correct?

Have you double checked the date the interest free period ends? (some people post having got this wrong and are therefore are surprised to be charged interest).

Yes - assuming you only have purchase transactions on the account and assuming you pay the final amount off in time for it to be credited to your card account by the 1st then you will pay no interest (i.e making payment on the 1st could well not be credited until afterwards).

1st of a July is a Sunday - make sure you remember your payment will need to be credited to your account by the 29th June.

Have been told that interest will only begin accruing at the end of the period. Which seems "common sensical". Thanks for your response.
