john.h, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you have to pay for the curved jig from howdens? As i'm about to undertake the same job with the square edged laminate worktop from them.
Many Thanks0 -
Agree with cddc. If you havent already got the kitchen from Homebase have a look at some other places. Their kitchens are so overpriced. How much they charging for the curved units?0

Thanks for the advice - I haven't actually got it all priced up yet, hoping for an extension in february & obviously a kitchen to go in it - being a dedicated money saver I like to look at all my options early so I know what I can and can't afford & it suddenly looked like curved units were out of the question!! I've done my kitchen design on the homebase website - guess I'll have to print it out and go round all the places, my builder recommended Howdens as he gets the trade discount so that will be my next port of call to see if they have one like the monza - but cheaper. The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.0 -
Wouldn't bother with an expensive jig for a one off job, I've simply made a former or jig from mdf and used a worktop joing router bit to follow the shape, simples.;)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
