iPad wifi slow after recent software update

Hi, my OH' s iPad 2 has suddenly started to go slow when online with our wifi at home. It's a wifi only iPad btw. It was fine before the latest software update. A quick google search revealed that there are others out there with the same problem. Sadly I have yet to find a solution. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas.
Btw the three iPhones that live in our house had same update and they are fine when on the wifi, just the iPad playing slow coach
