They were interviewing Michael O'Leary this morning on Bbc Breakfast and trying to ask about all the hidden charges he adds to fares but he insisted everything was up front and you can fly for the advertised figure.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

That is correct, I do fly for the headline figure.

    Are you the one.
I've never been on RyanAir but there seems to be a never ending stream of complaints, even paying them without it being an extra is normal isn't it.

You simply must try it my friend, then you'll known the truth.

Millions of us fly around Europe for the headline figure.

    Here you go

    No Taxes
    Depart
    Liverpool 12:35
    Arrive
    Oslo (Torp) 15:25
    1 x Adult 4.74 GBP

    Fare: 4.74 GBP
    Web Check in: 6.00 GBP
    ETS Levy: 0.25 GBP
    Taxes/Fees: 0.00 GBP
    Total Price: 10.99 GBP

Even paying with the wrong plastic it would be under £17, how cool is that.

The disconnect is that passengers need to read a great deal about Ryanair's terms and conditions and absorb them. Ryanair doesn't hide its fees, but its hard work for some people to study all the detail. In addition you have to take great care during the booking process so you are not tricked into buying insurance or accepting a poor exchange rate.

If you want to pay the headline fare and no more the best tips are:
    1. Equip yourself with a Ryanair Cash Passport card (and a Mastercard pre-pay card for some bookings to the UK).
    2. Make sure you print out your boarding card in advance.
    3. Take only hand luggage and keep to the rules on size and weight.
    4. Say no to all extras -- reserved seating, priority boarding, hold luggage, travel insurance etc.
    5. Don't buy food and drink, newspapers, scratch cards etc on board.

If you want to pay LESS than the headline fare book your trip as two singles. You'll get the return leg cheaper. Eg. €40 instead of £40.

If you want FREE special treatment tick the special assistance box and get yourself wheeled to the aircraft and taken up on a lift to a seat reserved for you. There's no charge. It is not to be recommended for able bodied people but if you're 80, weary and don't want to struggle with the crowds etc it is an option.

Booking Ryanair flights annoys the hell out of me but you can't argue with the price on a lot of routes
The planes are all newish to boot.

I have some flights from Tenerife to Leeds Bradford booked for October €41 all in - Daytime flights too.

We have flown for the headline price, if we take checked luggage its still often cheaper. did corfu in september & beat thomson by £50 each (with luggage), Did Rhodes this year on ryan booked by the travel company didnt realise they were doing that. sorry save the euro, find the ts & cs ok i think the people that struggle either cant read or (more likely) cant be bothered. You never pay anymore than the total on the press here to pay page.

Thank goodness Seaman Staines does not know how to book headline fares, and thanks also to all the ryanair haters that leave me enough cheap flights every month.
And as a sop to ryanair virgins/haters i dont think ryanair have ever made a profit from the £4.39,£5.45,£8.50,£9.98,£12.45 and when pushed £14.98 that i have paid for flights.
    Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!
