Weight Watchers or Slimming World?

I find slimming world easy to follow and work around a family. Lots of filling foods like jacket potatoes and pasta.
I've been to a few SW groups over the years and the amount of middle aged women bragging about how much alcohol they have consumed that weekend and how drunk they were is very disturbing, they look so sad and desperate in their attempts to make their lives sound exciting.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Dolly - what is it about women and alcohol? I know exactly what you mean. It's very sad really that alcohol is so important in some womens lives. All the progs on TV & radio about women/alcohol/liver disease etc is falling on deaf ears.0

Thanks for all the comments. I still think I am leaning towards SW. I did try WW a couple of years ago but I found the points system a bit annoying and I felt hungry all the time
I have checked out a local group so will pluck up the courage and go on Tuesday :T
I hadn't considered Rosemary Connelly but its a plan b if SW doesn't suit me.
Thanks for all taking the time to join in the discussion.

Hi Pixie
I have only just come across your thread and for what it is worth,
I couldn't recommend Slimming world enough!
So far I have lost 6 stone and have set my target at 7 stone!
I love Slimming World and I'm going to be a bit corny here, and say the good old classic line.... "IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE"
So how was your first meeting, what is your group like, did you stay for image theropy, how is your first week going?
Sorry about all the questions, but I am intrigued to see how you got on!
All the best Lealea x0
