Applied for a virgin credit card and was successfully approved. But I received a letter over ther weekend from the MBNA fraud team
stating that they are trying to get in contact with me (missed their call), what could this be about?

Could be they're just checking a purchase you've made over a certain amount, that happened to my partner before with his Capital One card. If its a recent application and you haven't made a purchase yet or had the card through the post it could just be a security check.I SUPPORT CAT RESCUE! Visit Cat Chat to support cat rescue too.

Assuming you havent actually received the card etc it can be simply part of their checks. When I applied with Nationwide it all went through fine but subsequently had their counter fraud team contacting me asking me to send proof of income into them.0
