Have I lost my recordings?

I had a bunch of voice recordings on my HTC Desire phone. However, I then used the SD card from it to make video clips on my Muvi mini camera.
Since then, I can't seem to find the voice recordings on my HTC Desire again.
Are they hidden somewhere, or has the video recorded over the voice recordings?!

Well, you may well have recorded over them.
Has your phone got a file explorer app so that you can see what's on there? Or use a card reader on your PC.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
