2 phone calls and DH's lunch done, WM on. May try to have a sensible conversation with DS1 in a bit. Hot drink first, though.

ETA Glad you posted, LW. Ooh, the IOW is lovely and shouldn't be too busy outside the school summer holidays. Although it's a long time since we went (DS1 was 2, so 16 years).

    Greetings Flyfriends

We are doing well here, DH has worked really hard on the kitchen while I have directed operations from my perch. The cupboards are clean inside and out.

    We've been into town and I bought a 2pt & 1pt pudding basins in cs for £1.50:j

Much excitement here we are going to see the Olympic Torch later:T

Love to everyone, healing vibes and prayers where required xx

wilf - very intrigued by some of your acronyms :D

Tomorrow I have a friend visting who hasn't been to our house before. Normally this would have me in fits of panic, but thanks to this thread I'm just going to have to fling the hoover round tomorrow and move a couple of bits from the living room table tonight (maybe some dusting if I'm feeling really brave!)

Without your support ladies I wouldn't be looking forward to her visit :)

I decided to have lunch before making a drink. Fed DS1, too, and had that sensible conversation while we were in the kitchen. Now he just needs to act on it! DS2 is asleep - hope he'll be fit for his school trip tomorrow, but his temperature just won't stay down, despite paracetamol. Have threatened him with ibuprofen, which he hates (so I can alternate).

Finishing my coffee, then I'll get on to the last phone call and a few other things.

Great news Flylady friends. Baby William is going home tomorrow. To say we are relieved is an understatement. Thank you so much for your vibes, support and prayers.
