I'm still increadibly happy that William is heading home. DD2 is desperate to see him but DS3 is poorly with a high temp and sickness so we will have to stay away for a few days.

The boys are learning the hard way that if they leave their belongings all over downstairs I lob them out in the garden.

Dinner cooked. Kitchen tidied. DH came home - he has no dinner. Second problem - I have DS3 in our bed. DH won't sleep on top bunk! DH can't lift him (dodgy back) and I'm still aching from my walking exertions so I can't carry him. It's not his weight, he's just ungainly. Blinking man why did he move the goalposts!

Not bad for my first day back, considering I'm feeling horrid: DS2 on the mend, 4 phone calls made/frogs eaten,, made a start on the hot spot by the front door, caught up with washing and kept up with dailies. I'll settle for that today.

Hopefully we'll be back to normal tomorrow, out of the house at just before 8am and not back until 5.45 - me at work and DS2 at school/on his trip to the Tudor museum in York. DS1 has got his list of jobs, too, and will hopefully take it seriously.

Tomorrow night will be dailies, feeding everyone and whatever else I can manage.

    Good to be back. :D

Mumto5 fab news about baby William.
LW lovely to see you post.
Wendy great to 'see' you back.
Gentle wake up vibes for Ed..

The same as the above. Did dailies plus some freezer cooking, steamed downstairs floors and put mess back into cupboard from whence it fell Night all.
  • I have a clean kitchen.

    Sparkling bathroom.

    Spotless landing and stairs.

    Tidy bedroom.

Polished windows, bannisters, fresh bedlinen, etc.

The fish can see out of their tank.

Not a cat crunchie in sight on any surface.

And the plants have all been watered, front and back, broad beans tied onto canes and a load of washing sitting on the line.

No idea why most of that happened. But the crunchie free zone is because the Great Gallumphing Muppet Cat is off to the vet for a little snip in the morning. All to ensure he remains a pleasure to have thundering around the place :)

Once he has been dropped off, I am sure that I'll need something to fuss over. Which means the living room, outside windows, shower room, kitchen floor and probably a few other things until I know he's OK.

In the meantime, have got my head (and fingers) round 2 of the songs I need for Sunday. Still lots and lots to do, though.

Well I've had a lovely day.. DS3 blood sugars through the roof so he had a tantrum (he is 13 so it was quite silly to start with) he stropped because the girls were on their pc and he wanted it, then he flounced because he was asked to not scream at the girls then he sulked because he had to do his bloods while still stropping about the pc. He pulled the fridge door open so the full box of lancets flew all over the floor, slammed the door shut and screamed like a girl making squeak cry :( ..and stormed into the back room knocking over the sock basket and a chair and punched the door making his knuckle bleed... when he went to put away his insulin he opened the fridge and a full jar of sundried tomatoes in OIL smashed all over the floor... kicked the laundry basket and broke it and ran upstairs to be hysterical.. when he came down he still had all the mess to clear away.. and got an ear chewing about his behaviour. It is pointless trying to speak to him until he is calm but my goodness he was entertaining!

    Hopefully he feels better tomorrow!

6 cardigan sewn up for skinny legs (grandbeast #1) so I'll make a start on a few for squirt (grandbeast #2) .. Jacob is called snotbox.. see I love them all dearly :p.

Bins all emptied.. need to get them out though... might persuade OH to do them.. :D

    To what music?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Staying Alive?

Morning all - still chilly out!

Got Level 1 done yesterday but today's list is looking good already - 2 loads on the line, throws in the washer and will go out this morning, stairs and living room hoovered last night (the joys of 2 dogs lol!) so if I look for hot spots tonight and dust I'm pretty much there! Might even get the 2 loads ironed too. Weather is 'supposed' to be warm and sunny today - not when I was in the garden at 6 this mroning - positively chilly!

Might even poke my nose in the Room of Doom later - didn't quite manage it yesterday! Oh well, early shower today - traffic wasn't too bad yesterday die to the road closure but it has the potential to screw up the whole town centre - I'm not in the office first thing (school visit) but it means I will be waiting forever for a car parking space when I get there! Oh well, I have paperwork to do - I try not to waste my time!

Hope everyone has a good day!
