Paying Return Postage on Faulty Item

Having looked through this forum and on Ebay, I think I know the answer to my question but just wanted to check with all the very knowledgeable people on here.

I bought an electronics item which is faulty. I have been in contact with the buyer (a business seller) and they are happy to replace it. Am I correct in thinking that I will have to pay the return postage? It is quite a lot of money - I understand that I would be liable if I had just changed my mind but it does seem unfair if the item is faulty.

They are liable as business sellers, but whether they agree to or not depends on their CS skills. Ebay won't get involved in return postage.

Thank you. I was getting quite confused by all the different information. They didn't mention it when saying they were happy to send a replacement. As I need to return it whether they refund or not, I think I'll just have to email them once I've sent it and ask for the postage to be refunded.
