USB Stick Write Protected

My Integral 4GB USB stick has suddenly become write protected and I have no idea how. I have saved data on it in the past and there is no physical switch on the outside which might cause this.
I tried formatting it as I do not need the data on it but its still failing.
Is there any software I can download to resolve this?
Thanks

One of these downloads might help: http://www.integralmemory.com/downloads0

Try this program:
http://www.gohacking.com/downloads/resources/USBWriteProtect.rar
Unzip it with 7Zip for example and then right click on its USBWriteProtect.exe file and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
It has a radio button for Enable and Disable Write Protection.
Alternatively try this:
