    Thanks for all the replies guys, I am seriously going to look at making a fly screen from dowling and fly netting to slot into my doorway.That way eliminating the wind blowing it problem and I can keep the cat inside after dark, but still get some breeze in! Failing that (it probably will fail, me and DIY don't mix) I will go with the weighted curtain/net idea

    Cheers, these are what I have gone with, got them from Home Bargains, think they were about £1.50 each! Bargain. And if they don't work as well as I hoped, i've only lost £3:D
