Laminate worktop...on line

Im looking to buy some laminate wortop, would prefer 38mm thick square edge, however Homebase have quoted up to 5 weeks delivery. not yet been to B &Q but looked at their range on line and quite expensive for laminate.

wondering if anyone has bought on line before and can reccommend any suppliers, I ideally need within one week delivery as kitchen fitter has brought forward date of kitchen install.

Try Magnet Trade or Howdens if you know someone that has a trade account with them. Much cheaper than the sheds and Howdens are all in stock and Magnet Trade are in stock or just a few days lead in time.

Got mine from kitchen-worktops-direct.co.uk (Unicom). Good price, delivery arranged for a convenient time about 3 days later, driver called when he was 30 mins away so I could get home from work and helped me get it in the garage after driving 250 miles to get here. Can't fault 'em.

He wants quick and by inference he wants cheap so I wasn't concerning myself with quality. The Pragel Worktop is £ 35 per an 8 foot length and from the web more than 20 in stock at Croydon (just for example).

It's frustrating knowing you are paying extra to online prices but you don't really have time to order samples and it's a risk ordering on line without seeing as unless you know exactly what you want it's hard to judge from pictures the actual quality of something.

+1, there is no way I would have ordered worktop online without first having samples or seeing it in the flesh...
