Getting to London on a weekday morning without having to take out a mortgage!

Myself, my wife and our 1 year old son are going to Disneyland Paris on 16 July. The Eurostar departs St Pancras just after 10am, but I can't see how we can get to London for less than £52 each just for the journey out. We live in Corby.

The train just an hour or so later drops right down to £9. Does anybody have any ideas on any ways around this or anything else we can do?

Can you change the Eurostar tickets to later in the day?

If you can make your way to leicester you could get a megabus(site down at the minute) or national express.

I assume you can from peterborough aswell but i have no personal experience of that journey.

Get a cheap fare to London on the 15th, stay in a budget hotel overnight, and have a stress free start to your journey to Disneyland. You can get a family room at the Euston Travelodge for £35.75, so the total including 3 fares at £9 each is £62.75.

had a look but even when split ticketing it will still cost you about 50 quid each

Corby to London is about 90 miles. A taxi, preferably airport run company, would probably charge you half what it costs on the train.

Myself have looked at some of the taxi prices and it could still be close to £100 (plus the risk of traffic jams). The "go the previous" day option definitely looks the best!
    Can I help?

Thanks to everybody for the helpful advice.

The hotel option is definitely the best. Never seen a Travelodge in London that cheap before.
