Eurostar and Paris on the cheap...

Hey all, I want to take wifey to Paris early April (for her 21st). We have just moved into our new gaff so money is a bit tight. Can anybody help us get a cheap deal including 2 nights in a nice(ish) hotel and Eurostar from waterloo? At the moment £210 is the cheapest that I can find.

Thanks in advance

Farmer

Is that per person or total?
  • For eurostar - do you have Tesco Clubcard points? £25 worth will buy a return to Paris.

As for the hotel, look at the 'free Barcelona Hotels Loopyhole' thread on this forum for tips on how to get a nice hotel for not much money. I've already stayed in Barcelona in a 4* hotel for £10 per night per person, and am just booking a few nights in a 4* hotel in Madrid for free!! Not so much in Paris, but follow the tips, or even ask for some guidance - the contributors on the thread are friendly and helpful.

Good luck, and I hope you both have a lovely time........

The cheapest tickets for Eurostar if booked as British are £59 each. The only way I know of reducing that cost is to delete the Eurostar cookies & pretend to be American which saves £4 per person.

However I can't see how you could get a hotel room for £50 per night
