This company does not offer interest free, as I have just found out after dealiong with them.
On there website it quotes interest free, you pay a road fund up front of almost £200. However when you recieve their contract you find they are not interest free, they have applied for a loan on your behalf from barclays bank where there is interest of up to £720 and there are also many hidden extra fees that go directly to them. As I obviously changed my mind, I wrote and phoned but was not able to get a refund for the road fund fee I had paid.0 -
Combined with the scrap scheme it might be worth it, that scheme wont combine with discounts but finance would be a positive0

I'm assuming you mean RFL/Road tax. You should have asked for the tax disc that you paid for. Got a refund from DVLA themselves. Would have got at least 11/5 months back.0 -
havent read all the replys, 0% on cars is very simple, they pay a subsidy to the funder and they put that on the price of the car , buy a car from various car supermarkets and shop around for the finance, you will get 4% flat if you push hard, hope that helps0

As above THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS INTEREST FREE CREDIT ON USED CARS!!!! You will have to pay for the cost of borrowing the money one way or the other.
New cars is slightly different as the subsidy is funded by a third party (the MFR).0 -
Interest free credit tends to get offered on cars which are depreciation nightmares.
That Clio someone mentioned is a case in point. The appalling 33% residual will make the interest free credit savings null and void twice over compared to buying a Skoda Fabia with a 50% 3 year residual.

Just to clarify. There is absolutely no reason why 0% finance can't be offered on any (subject to normal finance criteria) car.
They tend be offered on "depreciation nightmares" as these are the cars that have mass market appeal and are likely to attract the same profile of customer who sees 0% finance and thinks happy days 0% ill save loads of money doing that.0
