My son recently booked a late deal through OTB holidays and found out a few days later that they had taken the money out from his account twice.This left him overdrawn and he had to quickly transfer money from his savings to avoid charges.The only way to resolve this was to phone their hideous 0905 premium number.They told him it was taken in error and they would reimburse him.When he asked how long this would take he was told up to two weeks as it had to get the money back from the flight operator.Surely his contract is with them and not the airline and as it was taken in error surely they should reimburse him immediately.As for customer services just one word APPALLING!

If you do a forum search for OTB I think you will find that plenty of people are in agreement with this.

Lodge a complaint with your sons bank saying the money was taken without consent. That might speed them up a bit.

This is why you should always use a credit card.

Try talking to the bank and see if they can help.

Most of these companies just act as the middle man and chances are yes he will have to wait for the flight operator to reimburse. However one of the parties involved should also reimburse bank charges.
